Final PEER Forum

Final PEER (Partnerships for Enhanced Engagement in Research) Forum on “Transboundary Water Research In Central Asia” was held in 21-24 October 2019 in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. Two sessions were dedicated to highlight the achievements of our Project. Our team was represented by Mr. Saiyed Momin Nori who presented our research results and contributions. In addition, US experts and partners working on water resources management, climate change, agriculture, and other related topics were invited to present on best practices from a US perspective. Finally, local stakeholders and international donors shared updates on their priorities and informed the discussion on how evidence generated by PEER can best translate into new policies. The final two days were dedicated to an intense training on the Open Data Kit taught by Dr. Andrew Bell of New York University.
