Integrated Watershed Hydrology Modeling

Integrated Watershed Hydrology Modeling is the cornerstone technology for estimating climate change impacts on water supply and demand; performing comprehensive water balances; evaluating conjunctive use impacts of groundwater extraction on surface water bodies; optimizing irrigation for agriculture operations; developing wetland management strategies; assessing the impacts of urbanization on local hydrology; and more. Integrated watershed hydrology modeling is the process by which the entire land phase of the hydrologic cycle is simulated using dynamically coupled process descriptions for surface water and groundwater flow and water quality.
